For a day on the greens, golfers can play at River Crest Country Club. Opened in 1911, River Crest Country Club is Fort Worth’s oldest, most storied country club. The club was the first in Texas to include residential development on its acreage. The club was the first to stage a statewide women’s golf tournament, and its members founded the Women’s Texas Golf Association in 1916. While there isn’t much water, the narrow fairways are hard to hit consistently and the small greens are challenging targets on the approaches.

The Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge is 3,000 acres of wildlife, trails and the West Fork of the Trinity River at the headwaters of Lake Worth. There are miles of trails to hike, although there's no bike riding off-road with wildlife. Granted, a herd of buffalo roams up close to the parking area near their enclosure. Kayakers can enjoy fishing and boating on the Trinity River for miles.

Since the Grand Opening of Lake Worth Skate Park in late 2010 youth and adult guests have continuously utilized it. You can also bring your furry friends out and have some fun at Keenum-Shelton Dog Park!

Located at the corner of Charbonneau Road and Shawnee Trail is Lake Worth Veterans Memorial. The Memorial was dedicated in June 2013 to the memory of all who proudly served and protected the country. Camp Bowie Boulevard

Camp Bowie Boulevard has evolved into the city's premier commerce corridor after changing its name to a nearby World War 1 military training camp. Camp Bowie is today a major corridor featuring shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The area's old-world charm is evident in the preserved buildings that are still home to locally-owned businesses. After shopping the aisles of Roy Pope Grocery, enjoy the Roosevelt Special at The Original, or feast on a burger from Kincaid's. And if you have a sweet tooth, make a pit-stop at Blue Bonnet Bakery for pastry or cake.

The tree-lined Camp Bowie Boulevard with trendy shops, pocket parks, and delicious dining spots has two different sections - Bricks and Ridglea. The famous Bricks is lined with historic red bricks and features many legendary Fort Worth hot spots. Ridglea is further west where the famous Ridglea Theater showcases a unique 1940s Mediterranean building.
