Things to Do In Dallas

West Village is the centerpiece of Cityplace. The mixed-use development features narrow, tree-lined streets with apartment balconies and sidewalk cafes. It houses chain stores and homegrown shops. An art cinema and an array of eateries including Paciugo Italian Gelato, Nikita, Paris Vendome, Taco Diner, Ferre Ristorante, and Cru Wine Bar accentuate the cosmopolitan buzz.

Cityplace Conference Center is another recognizable landmark in Cityplace. Standing 43-story tall, it's the tallest building in Dallas. The conference center is used for meetings, special events, and conferences. The 42nd floor opens up to a vaulted atrium that is often used for social galas, weddings, and other special events. Closer to downtown is Reunion Tower, one of the most visible landmarks in Dallas. Visitors can take the elevator up 55 floors to take in the spectacular 360-degree view of the city.

The 6,000-acre Great Trinity Forest lies just south of Downtown. Outdoor aficionados begin exploring the forest from the Trinity River Audubon Center. Enjoy hiking, bird watching, and river adventures in guided kayak expeditions. The nearby Trinity Forest Adventure Park combines obstacle-laden rope courses with zip-lining as you fly through the trees.
