There are so many fantastic areas of Dallas, for so many reasons. Whether you want a quiet place where you can raise your family, or you are interested in an eclectic neighborhood where you can enjoy the best urban living that Dallas has to offer, one things for sure: Dallas is not short on fantastic neighborhoods. Here are a few of our favorites:
What’s not to love about Uptown Dallas? This premier neighborhood of Dallas has everything going for it, including culture, nightlife and fantastic real estate. In fact, if you are looking for upscale condos or townhomes with the only the most impressive amenities and features, then Uptown Dallas is your place. Just some of the reasons why we love Uptown Dallas is because it’s super-easy to get around town; the beautiful Katy Trail winds itself around the neighborhood, thereby providing residents with an oasis of greenery; and it’s close by to a number of hot spots, including the Dallas Museum of Art, the Nasher Sculpture Center and the Meyerson Symphony Center.
We love the Knox-Henderson area of the city, and we also feel like it’s the most underrated. Located near Downtown Dallas, this area boasts beautiful Tudor and Craftsman bungalows, and there is loads of fantastic dining and shopping venues found here, as well. For location, it can’t be beat, and the real estate here is quite beautiful.
The Park Cities section of Dallas is likely the most well-known, and for good reason. Both University Park and Highland Park boast some of the most beautiful – and most expensive – homes in Dallas. The architecture found here, perhaps, is even more important to talk about than the expense of living here, because it is absolutely stunning. The Park Cities area has become the most highly sought after area for both professionals and families because of its enviable location near downtown Dallas and its highly acclaimed schools. The beautifully restored homes found here are often a century old, but the care and attention they have been given by devoted homeowners is evident just by driving through this area of Dallas.
