In a tough economic market filled with grim real estate news, Highland Park is definitely a bright spot in the Dallas market.
It’s a common sight on any day: hoards of shoppers funneling into the wildly popular Renaissance Place Mall.

I’ve always thought of Highland Park as being very similar to Buckhead Atlanta.
After reading you’re post, it appears as if the neighborhoods are similar in their resilience during a down real estate market. While there are some good deals in Buckhead, for the most part the home values have held up very well compared to the rest of the metro Atlanta market.
