The Greater San Antonio Builders Association Hosts Builders Showcase Expo 2008

Need some help choosing a builder? Looking to remodel or redecorate? Are you curious about the newest trends in home design and construction? Or do you just want to catch a bite to eat and go shopping? Then the San Antonio’s Builders Showcase Expo 2008 is just for you!
The Greater San Antonio Builders Association will host the Builders Showcase Expo 2008 from September 26-28, 2008 at the Alamodome.
Some of this year’s highlights will include:
· Extreme Dream Kitchen – Three of San Antonio’s top builders - Double Diamond Custom Homes, Elegance in Design Custom Homes, LP, and Mike Hollaway Custom Homes – will dazzle show visitors with one-of-a-kind kitchen designs. Each kitchen, which will incorporate green building elements, will have a different design and feel.
· Build San Antonio Green – An entire area will be devoted to eco-friendly building products and techniques. This area will also be designed to introduce visitors to the Build San Antonio Green program and educate visitors who are interested in the green lifestyle.
· Place Making – Place Making is a useful area which will educate baby boomers and seniors about ways in which they can modify their home. The national concept, Aging-In-Place, will be the focus of Place Making. It will deal with issues surrounding many seniors and the children of aging parents, including seniors who want to remain in the comfort of their own homes but need modifications for safety purposes.
· Expo Marketplace – Expo Marketplace will provide a large retail area for visitors.
· Dining in the Dome – Dining in the Dome will offer plenty of food choices for visitors.
· The Expo Theater – The Expo Theater will educate and entertain visitors with many kinds of helpful seminars, including the latest trends in home building and home design.
· Make a Move San Antonio – This area will involve important issues for those who are considering a move. Some of the features of this area will include real estate professionals, home staging companies, moving service providers and storage facilities.
