The three school districts in the Coppell area include:

The Coppell Independent School District (CIDS), the largest school district in Coppell, includes education for children in grades K-12. This school district includes the Valley Ranch area of North Irving and parts of Lewisville which are located below the current Dallas/Denton county boundary.

The Carrollton/Farmers Branch ISD includes the eastern section of Coppell, south of Sandy Lake Road and east of Macarthur Boulevard, including the Riverchase area.

Lewisville ISD includes the northern section of Coppell, including the Coppell Greens subdivision.
