Yes, FHA is very underrated today and I feel that to earn your stripes as a realtor at the moment you need to be up to speed on the ever changing credit crunch and the alternative FHA products. They make a ton of sense for first time homebuyers especially our areas outside of New York City in New Jersey. Prices are way way down and the extra 3% or so in closing costs are worth it for the lesser down payment.
