Realtor Cluelessness

Cluelessness

Inquisitive Idiots? Hmmmm, are we talking about first time buyers? Maybe we’re talking about someone who is down sizing after loosing the spouse that took care of all the “business”?

Remember, educating the buyer and seller is part of what a Dallas Real Estate Agent does. The more your clients understand and the more you explain right at the beginning, the less likely you are to have a miscommunication or misunderstanding as the process heats up toward settlement.

Educating the client to the laws and procedures tells the client that you care about them, which makes a lasting impression. Clients for life are that way because you give them lots of good reasons. Being patient with the questions – even when they have a lot of them – is a big reason they’ll be your clients for life.

Make your own life easier. Answer the questions thoroughly the first time and the second, so that by the third time you have to bring an issue up they will be reciting it back to you. You win, they win and the contract process goes a lot smoother.

Do you remember when you bought your first house, or sold your first? Chances are you had someone to walk you through the process, someone that you trusted. Or, perhaps there was no one to help answer your questions and this lack contributed to your decision to become an agent. Either way, the point is the same: it is stressful to buy or sell real estate, and your clients depend on you for the right answers. They prefer answers that are cheerfully given….even if they’ve asked the same question 14 times.

Of course, if you’d rather not bother, it is a clear indication that it is not the client that is clueless!

Professional Real Estate People Speak Up!
    FHA ALERT!!!!!

If you are a real estate agent in Texas I am sure you are very familiar with FHA mortgages and if you are not you should be. This is the best loan for most 1st time home buyers with very little money to put down in most cases bad credit can be overcome as well as long as the borrower is back on track with their payments.

Mortgage MiCasa is a great resource for your clients to get good information on competitive interest rates and fees. This website can also be converted to Spanish for all your Spanish speaking cliental.

We specialize in working with 1st time home buyers and make their 1st home buying experience a breeze by walking people through all the steps of the mortgage process with clear direction. Please contact me if you have a client that is interested in an FHA loan.

If you would like to be educated yourself on FHA loan I will be happy to give you a run down on how they work and what is involved with getting somebody approved on an FHA loan. It is important that real estate agents have a very good understanding of the whole process. Just as it is important for Mortgage Brokers and Loan Officers to have a full understanding of the Real Estate Agents side of the business.

    Warmest Regards,
