Highland Park has long been known for having an outstanding school system. From elementary through high school, students attending Highland Park schools almost cannot do anything but excel. The educational system contributes to the attractiveness of Highland Park real estate.
Highland Park High has been particularly noted for its athletic program, winning many championships in football, baseball, and other sports. Now there is word that three seniors will be playing college football when they head off to school in the fall.
The Lucky Three
Zach Boyd met with former NFL coach June Jones at Southern Methodist University and was offered a football scholarship. He will be playing with Coach Jones this fall.
