Dallas Luxury Real Estate in a Mixed Use Development

Friday, February 29th, 2008

Is it possible to own a piece of Dallas luxury real estate yet have every convenience close at hand? Thanks to Provident Realty Advisors and the Red Sea Group, shopping, dining, and office space can all be within walking distance of your exquisitely appointed home.

The Glen at Preston Hollow is a $300 million to $400 million development designed to blend with the prestigious Preston Hollow community. In addition to 104 custom luxury homes, The Glen at Preston Hollow will have 1,100 multi-family units, 175,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, and 100,000 square feet of Class A office space.

The Luxury Homes

This will truly be a unique idea for Dallas Texas luxury real estate. The custom home sites will sit within a 17 acre gated community, along the western portion of the development. Right now, the lots are being sold to custom homebuilders for development, which is anticipated to be part of the first phase of the project. The Red Sea Group anticipates the first phase to be completed in the summer of 2010, and as of now it is on track to finish on time.

Tasteful Commercial Spaces

The areas planned for commercial use will have Mediterranean and Spanish Colonial architecture. No chain or anchor stores will be at The Glen. Rather, retailers will be specialty shops and boutiques.

Apartments will be built over the commercial spaces, and the entire development will be pedestrian friendly. As the project progresses, depending upon need or interest, a hotel, condominiums, or residences for senior citizens could be added to the development.
