That’s right… You read it right. It’s interesting what builders will put out there. I must say this is a very unique method of moving houses. I’m sure it’s been done before but I’ve never seen it.
A large home builder in Frisco, TX, which is a suburb north of Dallas that has been part of one of the fastest growing areas in the nation, is offering to any investor that purchases 3 houses at full appraised value, they will get the 4th one free.
All houses are in the $400k to Low $500k purchase range. If you can afford to take down $1.5 Million worth of houses. You get around $500k in equity. There aren’t too many investors that can afford to do this…I would obviously make sure to triple check the appraisal…

Is this still a good deal? Or is it better to buy one at a discount.

I think it’s a good deal. I would still try and negotiate on the price. I can probably get it down to 69% to 70% of the appraised value.

There are still some deals out there, but not nearly as many as there were 3-5 months ago.
