Dallas realtors have witnessed a sales drop in thirty areas of the Dallas market. For the last seven months there was a steady growth in the price of Dallas homes for sale. This is true for all of the residential neighborhoods located in Dallas. There are some areas that have experienced skyrocketing house prices, up an entire twenty-one percent since last year. Some Dallas Texas real estate properties, located in closed-in residential areas, are in high-demand. This has caused an increase in the price of homes in these highly sought after neighborhoods.
One of the largest decreases in the real estate market has been in the area of Coppell. In Coppell houses are on the market for nearly eight months. The hot areas are the Park Cities and East Dallas. Dallas Realtors agree that one reason for the decline is the chaos in the mortgage market.
