An Announcement of Home Sales in Dallas

Friday, November 30th, 2007

Dallas realtors have witnessed a sales drop in thirty areas of the Dallas market. For the last seven months there was a steady growth in the price of Dallas homes for sale. This is true for all of the residential neighborhoods located in Dallas. There are some areas that have experienced skyrocketing house prices, up an entire twenty-one percent since last year. Some Dallas Texas real estate properties, located in closed-in residential areas, are in high-demand. This has caused an increase in the price of homes in these highly sought after neighborhoods.

One of the largest decreases in the real estate market has been in the area of Coppell. In Coppell houses are on the market for nearly eight months. The hot areas are the Park Cities and East Dallas. Dallas Realtors agree that one reason for the decline is the chaos in the mortgage market.

A New Look for North Texas

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

Dallas realtors are excited about the new look that is appearing all over the North Texas area. It seems that the castle-look, a look dating back one-thousand years, is booming in certain neighborhoods of North Texas.

You will not find many of these castle-like homes on the Dallas MLS just yet. These new custom-made homes have unique characteristics, such as exquisite Old World stonework and two-story turrets. These are one-of-a-kind Dallas Texas real estate properties that boost interiors of stained wood and create a truly medieval feeling.

Even though these homes are designed from an Old World architecture style, they are not meant to feel old. These new castle-like homes have personal wine cellars, media rooms, extensive security systems and much more.

Discussions of Fort Worth Development

Monday, November 26th, 2007

Despite the news of falling housing prices, one economist has predicted good news for the Dallas housing market. This comes as a surprise as much of the nation is in a housing crisis, so to say. It seems that Dallas and other major Texas cities have dodged the bullet of the housing downswing. This is good news for the Dallas Texas real estate market.

Good News for the Dallas Retail Industry

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

Since North Texas does not contain many geographical features, such as an ocean or a natural lake, many residents consider shopping to be the number one recreational activity. This is a terrific philosophy that provides many opportunities for developers to create Dallas retail space.

In fact, it seems as if there is anything, but a shortage of prime retail space in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Developers have announced that there is plenty more construction on the way. This means lots of more shopping opportunities for residents and investing opportunities for investors.

Dallas commercial real estate grew by four hundred thousand square feet of retail space last year alone. This figure nearly doubled in the year 2007. Retail space has been constructed in the downtown Dallas area and in Fort Worth. A large number of the ongoing projects are scheduled for completion in 2008. There are three major players that are causing such a rise in the amount of retail space.

Richard Ellis Inc., the Weitzman Group and the Retail Connection are the three key companies that are responsible for constructing millions of square feet of retail space in the area of the Metroplex. These construction companies are dedicated to meeting the high-demand for premier retail space in both Dallas and Fort Worth. The figures are expected to continue to rise well into the new year.

This is terrific news for the residents of North Texas who love to shop. It looks as if North Texas
